Join us on Thursday, February 18 at 10 a.m. for a lecture by Darcy Lloyd from the Heritage Seed and Produce Company in Westport. Mr. Lloyd will discuss traditional methods of growing vegetables. Heritage Seed and Produce specializes in heirloom vegetable seed produced without chemicals.

The New York Power Authority has just the cure for cabin fever over the long February break with trips to fantasy land and back via the silver screen.

During the upcoming school break from Feb. 16 to 19, NYPA’s Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch will be showing a variety of free family-friendly movies. Three different movies will be shown each day in the visitors center theatre. The schedule is as follows:

10 a.m   “Sleeping Beauty”
1 p.m.    “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”
3 p.m   “Star Trek”
