Hands-on History at Grass Creek Park

 

Step into the past and visit our traditional log house.

 

Explore our exhibits chronicling the history of logging, lumbering and woodworking in the 19th century.  Learn more about woodworking tools and their role in history. Five galleries house a Cabinetmaker's shop, Canadian plane makers and an exhibit on how a Sash window is constructed.

 

Located at the entrance of scenic Grass Creek Park we also offer 100 acres of park, an arboretum and sand beach.

 

Guided tours offered daily at 11 a.m.in July and August.

 

Don’t forget to visit the children’s exhibit where hands-on learning is encouraged!
